Biography
Sharon Wangare is CELSIR’s Chief Financial Officer and supports the organization’s financial stewardship, accountability systems, and operational planning.
She has a background in economics, finance, accounting, procurement, and data science. Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
She has also completed data science coursework through HarvardX and policymaking training through the British Council’s Ideas for a Better World program.
Her work helps CELSIR pair mission-driven impact with disciplined financial management, transparent reporting, and long-term organizational sustainability.
